The DEA confirmed that 17 military members were present at the illegal night club that was raided by immigration authorities in Colorado Springs Sunday morning.
ICE posted on X Tuesday,
"A monthslong investigation and multiagency federal enforcement action resulted in the arrest of over 100 illegal aliens at an illegal after-hours night club. The nightclub — guarded by active-duty U.S. servicemembers working as club security — was a hotspot for drug trafficking, violent offenders and prostitution. The servicemembers are now in the Army CID’s custody, and we have custody of the illegal aliens. Federal law enforcement seized numerous firearms and mounds of illicit drugs."
ICE quoted a post from the DEA on Monday:
From Denver 7:
"Of those 17 military members, eight are reported to have been working as security. The DEA also provided countries of origin for many of the 115 people detained after the operation because they were not able to prove they were in the country legally. Those countries include Guatemala, Cuba, El Salvador, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Nicaragua, Chile and Honduras. Of those 115 people, a DEA spokesperson said 105 are still in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody."
Darren, Karen, and Ashe discussed the raids on Sunday's Colorado Show. Note there will be no show this week due to travel schedules but we will return the week of May 11th!
