After two rounds of voting by 31 members of the Democrat Vacancy Committee, Jillaire McMillian was “selected” to be the Democrat nominee for HD-19. McMillian is the Director of Volunteers at Mormon Women for Ethical Government.
Just like Kamala. Democrats love vacancy committees. For democracy!
McMillian replaces current Rep Jennifer Parenti, who resigned after winning her primary earlier this year.
The contest against GOP challenger Dan Woog is a toss up, with Colorado local media reporting that this one could determine whether or not the Colorado commies keep their Democrat supermajority.
This is one to watch.
