Standing outside Matthew Livelsberger’s Colorado Springs home, where federal agents have just concluded their SWAT investigation, new questions are emerging about the decorated Green Beret accused of the failed bombing outside Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas.
Livelsberger’s family has raised doubts about the incident, describing him as a “big Trump supporter” and a deeply patriotic soldier. His uncle told The Independent, “He used to have all patriotic stuff on Facebook. He was 100 percent loving the country. He loved Trump and was always a very, very patriotic soldier, a patriotic American.”
The uncle also questioned the crude nature of the explosive device used in the attack. “Matt was a very skilled warrior… If he did this, he would’ve been able to make a more sophisticated explosive than using propane tanks and camping fuel.” He added, “[He] could have fashioned a bomb that would have obliterated half of that hotel if he seriously wanted to hurt others.”
These comments have fueled speculation about Livelsberger’s motives and whether he acted of his own volition. Online discussions suggest the possibility of coercion, sabotage, or even a setup, adding layers of intrigue to an already complex case.
This latest development comes alongside revelations of Livelsberger’s apparent ties to Ukraine recruitment efforts, which some observers believe may have played a role in his actions. As federal agents leave his home, Colorado Springs remains at the center of a growing national conversation, with more questions than answers about what drove this tragic and puzzling event.
Meanwhile, viral social posts are casting doubts on the official story, while Colorado Peak Politics is reporting that the feds are "dragging their feet on declaring the explosive-laden truck bomb in Vegas as a terrorist attack."
