If a person intentionally murders a child in utero, is it murder? When it comes to a woman's right to access abortion, the anwser in Colorado is a resounding no.
But what if the father of the baby doses the mother with abortion pills to kill a child he doesn't want? Is it murder then?

That question is going to court in Texas. From Ed Wheelan on X:
"Pro-life superlawyer Jonathan Mitchell has filed a complaint in federal district court (Southern District of Texas) on behalf of a woman, Liana Davis, who alleges that the father of her unborn child murdered that child by secretly dissolving abortion pills into a hot beverage that he had prepared and tricking Davis into drinking it. Defendants include Aid Access, the Austrian company that shipped the pills to the father, and its director."
Readers will remember Jonathan Mitchell from his representation of President Trump in the Colorado 14th Amendment case in 2023. Mitchell argued Trump's case before the Supreme Court, securing a victory and overturning the Colorado Supreme Court ruling that removed Trump from the 2024 ballot.
Now he is arguing this murder case and, according to the thread, he is doing it pro bono.
You can't dose a woman to have sex with her, and you can't dose a woman to kill the baby after you do. This shouldn't be controversial.
The case also names the pill provider, Aid Access, as a defendant. This will be one to watch.
