District Attorney-elect George Brauchler (R-JD23) recently penned an OpEd on Secretary Griswold in the Gazette, making the case for why she cannot be allowed to investigate herself.
“It will look and smell like a cover-up, and Colorado voters will have reason to mistrust our voting system and to blame the Democrats for it. This should not be an issue of politics; it is an issue of election integrity and justice.”
That should go for her hand-selecting a law firm to do the investigation as well.
