On Friday, we shared the Summer Sex camp that was planned by the Boulder Valley Health Center for children grades 5th through 8th. Scott Shamblin broke this story on X earlier this month, with disturbing videos from the camp's organizers:
"SEX & MASTURBATION CAMP FOR CHILDREN This camp is "rooted in justice" and taught through a framework of queer theory. Where children go to touch and play with condoms, learn "porn literacy", and talk about transition plans. Earlier this week I attended the The Renée Crown Wellness Institute and Boulder Valley Health Center's parent's orientation call for their Sex Ed Summer Camp for fifth–eighth graders this July. It's free, paid for in large part by your tax dollars. But don't worry! If you complete the survey at the end you get a gift card! Absolutely appalling, and these are only the highlights. At the end they talk about playing with condoms and dental dams, with the kids AND parents!!!"
Thanks to the work of Shamblin, parent advocacy groups, and the broader public, this camp has now been cancelled.
The organizers were very excited about accessing children and exploring their sexuality with them this summer, and the cancellation is hitting them hard:
This person is calling parents prudes, appealing to the authority of Billie Eilish, and lamenting that their plans to groom children this summer have been canceled.
Billie Eilish has spoken publicly about her past struggles with pornography addiction, revealing that she began watching porn at age 11. She has expressed that this exposure negatively impacted her brain and contributed to nightmares. Eilish has also shared how it skewed her perception of what is considered normal during sex, leading her to make choices she later regretted.
“I think it really destroyed my brain and I feel incredibly devastated that I was exposed to so much porn,” Eilish has said.
Theory: A networked & organized group of abuse victims have decided that, since their innocence was stolen, the innocence of all children must be stolen. That is the only logical answer to appealing to the authority of Billie Eilish on this topic.
Congratulations to everyone who spoke up about this camp. The power of the people is on full display, and the MAPs are big bad. Their desire to access your children, however, will not go away.
In 2020, ABC News explored this topic in an article entitled, "Confessions of a child molester: Can offenders be rehabilitated?"
“If rehabilitation is based solely on, does the person return back to prison after committing a new sex crime? Then we’re very successful with that. If rehabilitation is, they never have an adverse thought about a child again, then maybe not so much,” Warren said. Even after therapy and treatment, Warren says offenders can still have an attraction toward children."
Living in a state that gives these monsters regular access to children, parents need to remain vigilant. It's likely that the only thing the Boulder Valley Health organizers learned from this experience is to not be so public with their plans.
