On Saturday, Representative Jason Crow (D-CO) posted that people need to stop exaggerating Colorado’s gang violence problem.

The problem of Mr. Crow and his Marxist friends is that the story keeps changing, and the world is watching.

Check out this summary of recent headlines, highlighting the chaos of never letting a crisis go to waste.

    • Denver7 ABC (Aug 30): Immigrant families in Colorado 'really harmed' by national attention on Tren de Aragua, activists say
    • Fox News (Aug 31): Migrant gang taking over Colorado apartment complex ‘not an isolated occurrence,' former resident says
    • Newsweek (Sep 02): Cops To Clear Apartments 'Overrun' With Venezuelan Gangs

According to Savannah Hernandez on X, “the org who put on [Sep 3] migrant protest, downplaying the presence of Tren de Aragua in the area, is actually funded by the city of Denver and Aurora. Yes, the same cities trying to cover up TdA’s presence in their cities.”

Meanwhile, two Colorado counties are suing to end Sanctuary status in the Centennial State. From the Denver Gazette:

“The lawsuit filed by El Paso and Douglas counties targets a 2023 law that restricts the ability of state and local governments from making agreements with federal immigration officials over the detention of immigrants who are unlawfully staying in the country, as well as a 2019 statute that blocks local law enforcers from arresting or detaining an immigrant solely on the basis of a federal immigration detainer.”

Colorado Peak Politics had it right: Stop spinning and politicizing criminal gang activity in Aurora and just deal with it.
