With recent snowfall in the high country of Colorado, ski resorts are opening more terrain as we approach the Christmas and New Year's holiday. It's time to dust off that snowboard and prep those skis sitting in storage and make plans to hit the slopes!

From Purgatory in the south to Steamboat in the north, from Powderhorn on the Western Slope to Eldora near Boulder, and big names like Vail, Aspen and Breckenridge in-between, there are dozens of ski resorts available in Colorado's skiable mountain areas. If you purchased an Epic or Ikon pass, you are well on your way to a number of Colorado ski resorts. Daily lift ticket rates continue to pricey.

While some resort prices may challenge your wallet this season, recommend you find a way to get outside and enjoy this physical activity which is good for your health and an experience opposite the lockdowns and restrictions we lived through just a short time ago. It's time to express your freedom and enjoy what our Colorado mountains have to offer.

You can get more ski and snowboard information by visiting a number of Colorado websites by specific resort or via Colorado tourist sites. Welcome to Colorado. Enjoy this great time of year on the slopes!
