"Everywhere that Mary went the sheep were sure to go."

Not so fast, Colorado. "According to data from Colorado Parks and Wildlife, eight more sheep were killed by wolves in Grand County as of July 28," based on reporting out of the Denver Gazette. "Since gray wolves were reintroduced to the state in 2023, there have been 14 depredation incidents in Colorado."

Colorado Free Press was unable to reach Mary for comment. Sources close to the matter say she's in mourning following this year's fleece harvest spoiled on account of all the blood.

Next up, Wolverines!
