The bodies of two hunting tourists, Andrew Porter (NC) and Ian Stasko (UT), have been recovered by Colorado Search and Rescue, according to a Give Send Go established by one of the missing hunter's aunts. The last reported communication from the hunters was on September 11th.
"It is with a broken heart and through tears that I give you this update. Andrew and Ian have both been found deceased. Their bodies were discovered earlier today by Colorado Search and Rescue. Details provided by Porter's fiancé reveal that Porter and Stasko were tracking a bull moose and likely got caught in the recent storms, but details are limited from the Conejos County Sheriff’s Office.
