The past few days we've been preparing for the governor's special session with a look at contributing factors to Colorado's $1.2B budget deficit.
The key takeaway is that the priority must be cutting spending. The legislature cannot resolve its financial mismanagement by increasing taxes (and fees) on the people. It's irresponsible and unacceptable.
