Colorado progressives regularly gaslight the public that concerns about crime are unfounded -- just far right fear mongering. They trot out manipulated metrics that show crime is declining, and quickly memory-hole the numerous headlines about Colorado's "vibrance."
Regardless, crime is a problem. This week, law enforcement is sounding the alarm about increasing crime in the northern part of the state. From CBS News Colorado:
The Boulder County Sheriff's Office is looking for what they are calling the Panda Bandit. Investigators say three young suspects, one dressed in a panda costume, burglarized a gas station in Superior and took vape products.
In Greeley, a clothing store is asking for help after thieves drove through their front window.
A similar burglary happened at Vibez Vape and Smoke shop in Arvada, where a stolen car caused thousands of dollars in damage.
These smash and grab robberies may seem harmless -- it's just property damage, right commies? They may even seem humorous, as in case of the Panda Bandit. But increasing crime in Colorado is no laughing matter. Across the state our communities are undeniably less safe under current state leadership.
Over the summer, we reported that crime statistics show Denver is now less safe than 99% of all cities in the nation.
It's not just Denver. There was the slate of stores closing in October due to increasing crime. In September, the government's gaming metrics on migrant crime came into focus, and a Trooper was shot. And let's not forget August:
Boulder, Aurora, Commerce City, Pueblo, Greeley, Arvada, and more. It's not just a Denver problem. It's a Colorado problem.
Still, desperate to keep their narrative, Colorado progressives insist that crime is down, and Colorado is safe.
What's driving the deception?
