This Sunday, September 14, BRAVE Church will host a memorial service and prayer vigil to honor the life of Charlie Kirk. The service begins at 2 p.m. MT and will be held at Brave Church campuses in Englewood and Westminster.

Speakers include Pastor Jeff, Jeff Hunt, Heidi Ganahl and Victor Marx.

Pastor Jeff is the founder and senior pastor of BRAVE Church. Since launching the church in 2010, he has grown it to three campuses and a K–12 BRAVE Academy, while also hosting a nationally broadcast radio program that challenges listeners to live boldly in their faith.

“Charlie Kirk was a friend, a courageous brother in Christ, a bold voice for truth and a man who loved his family,” said Pastor Jeff. “He will be deeply missed but his legacy will continue. Please join us at BRAVE Church as we host a memorial service and prayer vigil to honor his life, grieve together, and lift high the hope we have in Jesus.”

Jeff Hunt, best known to many Colorado conservatives as co-host of The Jeff and Bill Show on 710 KNUS, and previously served as the director of the Centennial Institute and co-chair of the Western Conservative Summit.

“Charlie was a close friend and I watched him build Turning Point,” said Hunt. “I served on his advisory committee and regularly hosted him as a speaker at the Western Conservative Summit. Charlie is a once in a generational leader. Join me in gathering to pray for his family and to honor him. We’ll also encourage the next generation to continue his work.”

Victor Marx, a longtime friend and mentor to Kirk, brings his own testimony as founder of All Things Possible Ministries. A former Marine turned high-risk humanitarian, his missions have carried him into some of the most dangerous corners of the globe, from Iraq to Syria, where he has worked to bring hope and healing to those facing violence and persecution.

“I’m heartbroken and still in shock. Charlie was a dear friend—I had the honor of mentoring, traveling, and praying with him,” said Marx. “Millions loved him, and his life was a testimony of courage and faith. In times like this, prayer is our greatest weapon for healing and hope. I want to personally invite you to join us for a vigil this Sunday at 2 p.m. at BRAVE Church. Let’s grieve, pray, and begin the journey of healing together.”

Heidi Ganahl, former CU Regent and the 2022 Republican nominee for governor, is the founder of Rocky Mountain Voice and noted that her family’s friendship with Charlie Kirk made this vigil especially personal.

Charlie never gave up on Colorado—he always came back,” Ganahl said. “For me, he was more than a friend—he was a mentor who taught me to be fearless and reminded me why we needed to create Rocky Mountain Voice. On Sunday we’ll honor his life and lift up the fire he started so it will not be silenced.”
