On Monday, May 12, the Rocky Mountain Gun Owners came out with some breaking news:

RMGO crafted a five part thread to ensure people understand why Boesenecker was selected for such an award:
(1/5) Andrew publicly attacked Colorado sheriffs for viewing themselves as protectors of gun rights. He used this to push millions in unfunded mandates, shifting departments from public safety to enforcing gun control.
(2/5) Andrew was a key supporter of state mandated LIFETIME BANS on social media for violating ANY policy of the platform. Combined with more penalties for failing to moderate firearms content, the bill would have resulted in discrimination against gun owners. [SB-086]
(2.5/5) RMGO killed that censorship bill (SB-086) and others like it aimed at stripping your constitutional rights this year.
(3/5) Andrew Boesenecker was prime sponsor of SB-003, the bill requiring that you beg for your right to purchase a firearm. He spent months bemoaning the "unique lethality of semi-automatic firearms" as he lead the effort to fearmonger his fellow Democrats into backing the bill.
(4/5) Andrew was also prime sponsor of an online portal to sign away your right to buy a gun. That's right. SB-034 allows anyone to sign away their right to purchase a gun without talking to anyone. It takes 30 days to regain the right to purchase after a request is granted.
(5/5) The icing on the cake... Andrew collaborated with known RINOs in the Colorado House to punish free citizens who have long completed sentences for nonviolent offenses. 1-3 years in prison for being found near an unattended firearm or possessing a gun. [HB-1171]
