A government forensic scientist was recently caught manipulating DNA testing, impacting more than 1,000 criminal cases.
Now, another government scientist, this time a chemist, was caught manipulating data in another apparent Colorado government coverup.
From FOX31:
“The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) announced it will be temporarily suspending water testing at the State Laboratory after an investigation revealed a second chemist manipulated water quality control data.”
This is the second chemist from the State Laboratory alleged to have manipulated data, compromising the integrity of our water.
“Both instances of data manipulation contributed to lapses in testing for certain metals in water, CDPHE said.”
Certain metals. In our water. Were told such ideas are conspiracy theories and that we should trust the science and experts. In this instance, the experts were manipulating the scientific data.
Hilariously, the lab is promising swift action, “The integrity of our laboratory operations is our top priority,” the chief medical officer said. “We are taking swift and decisive action to address this issue, including fully evaluating the culture and practices of the lab.”
It’s hilarious because “CDPHE first noted issues in data in December of last year. However, the agency didn't inform the federal government until April, and it took even longer for news of the manipulation to reach the public.”
They’re going to take swift action now, though. It’s not unreasonable to ask if this is because they got caught.
Corruption is like cancer. In this case, the corruption may cause actual cancer.
Trust the science.
