City Journal reported on Sunday that, "numerous high-profile crimes—including the murder of [Laken] Riley, an assault by several immigrants in Times Square on NYPD officers, and police cautions about foreign home-invasion gangs hitting wealthy neighborhoods—have intensified the debate over just how much crime the Biden immigrant surges have unleashed."

Grok, "Migrant Crime at the US Border"

The media, and particularly the local Colorado media, regularly gaslights the people that migrant crime is a fabrication, while screeching that it's actually political violence that's truly a "threat to democracy."

The City Journal piece continues, "Much of the mainstream media and immigration advocates, for their part, accuse conservatives of making it all up. Headlines like 'The Myth of the Migrant Crime Wave,' 'Migrant Crime Wave Not Supported by Data,' and 'Immigrants Are Less Likely to Commit Crimes' have been common, especially after Trump made immigrant crime a 2024 campaign issue."

Legacy media desperately wants to downplay this story.

In a story on Monday out of Reuters, the outlets spreads hysteria about 51 cases of political violence in 2024(YTD). Most of these cases involve mental health crises and they span the political spectrum, though the most vicious and deadly attacks were targeted at Trump and his supporters. Reuters dedicates nearly 2,000 words to the political violence narrative. In contrast, “migrant crime” only shows up on Reuters if the story is about Europe -- or they’re fact checking Donald Trump and gaslighting their readers about the criminal invasion.

But the surge in migrant crime is actually well documented. And the trends by presidential term are undeniable.

Migrant crime declined from 8,531 in 2017 to 2,438 in 2020 under President Trump's border policies. Under the policies of Biden and Harris, it jumped to 10,763 in 2021 and continued to increase, with the current YTD number being 15,608.

While so-called journalists claim the trend is a fabrication, the official government data debunks their misinformation. Aren't we supposed to trust the official, authoritative sources?

51 cases of political violence in 2024(YTD) caused Reuters to publish pre-election fear porn; yet, there have been 15,608 reports of migrant crimes, including 27 homicides and 202 sexually-based offenses, in 2024(YTD) — and the outlet is silent.

Ask yourself why that might be.
