On Friday, the Trump Administration announced their lawsuit against the state of Colorado, claiming the state's sanctuary laws violate the Constitution's Supremacy Clause.

"This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, anything in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding." Article VI, Clause 2

Immigration, naturalization, and national defense are enumerated powers within the US Constitution. The states do not have the right to enable a criminal invasion of our nation or harbor the criminal invaders. Besides, Trump's handling of immigration is the issue he is polling most favorably on -- the American People want to make America safe again.

Through this litigation, the American People will gain clarity on Constitutional authorities, which benefits all of us. We're also certain to learn more about the enemies of America that are inside the gates.
