On Friday, Colorado Free Press broke the news of widespread threats of violence against the Colorado GOP, Steve Bannon, and any businesses that associate with them.
Bannon is to be the keynote speaker of the Colorado GOP's Centennial Dinner event on Friday, March 28, and leftist domestic terrorists have caused the location of the dinner to be moved to a third location after threatening to blow up a prior venue (Marriott in Denver), threatening hotel property and staff (Antlers in Colorado Springs), and attack business owners associated with the venue (Boot Barn and Phil Long). Read that report here:
Multiple attendees have told Colorado Free Press that they will attend but are concerned about security. One Republican who planned to attend told us that they have decided not to attend, fearing political violence from the left. They asked to be kept anonymous out of fear for their safety.
This is literally terrorism.
The Colorado GOP told us Friday that, "The current MAGA leadership" of the Colorado GOP "refuses to be cancelled" by threats of violence.
GOP insiders familiar with the situation tell me that there is "a lot of drama" between Republican factions, with establishment Republicans suggesting capitulating to or negotiating with these terrorists in light of this weekend's party leadership elections.
They may get their wish, as a clear front runner in the race for state GOP chair has not emerged. It's anyone's game.
GOP Chairman Dave Williams has not yet responded to recent requests for comment, and we will update this report with any response received.
