Tina Peters filed a Motion for Bond Pending Appeal on November 17, proving a preview of Peters' grounds for appeal, which will include overt judicial bias against the accused, the exclusion of admissible evidence during trial, and probable juror bias discovered post trial.

While we wait for the detailed appellant brief, Peters is asking to be released on bond.

"Pursuant to C.A.R. 9(b) and C.R.S. §16-4-201.5, Appellant Tina Peters respectfully moves for release pending this Court’s review of her conviction of four felony counts and three misdemeanors in the Mesa County District Court... Appellant asks this Court to reinstitute the bond in the amount of $25,000 cash or surety under which she had been released for 31 months during the proceedings below. Appellant respectfully requests that bond conditions include that Appellant may remain in her home in Grand Junction, continue her employment, travel outside the state for business purposes, and visit Appellant’s 95 year old mother in Virginia."
