Governor Polis signed SB25-003 on Thursday, a bill that critics have called the "most extreme gun ban" in the nation.

Local second amendment advocacy groups immediately responded:

This bill changed radically throughout the legislative process, leaving many wondering why public comment wasn't revisited after massive changes in each chamber.

Lawsuits are expected in the wake of Polis' signature.
