Last Tuesday, the world changed. Whether you believe it for better or worse, it changed.
Donald Trump won. People are freaking out about this but hear me out. Many Americans are asking “what happened?” They were completely convinced the election would go in their direction. Thousands of videos show the disbelief and bewilderment of people who think they were robbed of their candidate, Kamala Harris.
Women are shaving their heads in protest. They are wearing blue bracelets to signify some sort of “belonging” to the “I didn’t want that” club. Schools closed down for mental health days. Videos from unpeaceful wives who put their husbands out of the house because he dared to vote against HER choice. Families are being destroyed. A teacher shaved her student’s head, while singing “The National Anthem.” People are genuinely losing their minds. Perhaps that’s a good thing. Again, hear me out.
Has it ever occurred to people in these frustrated groups that everyone doesn’t believe what THEY do? I know it’s shocking for some, but the human brain and the soul of the individual is autonomous. Over half of the country has been excoriated for flying too far away from the hive mind headquarters. In former years, liberals used to welcome debates.
Was there ever a thought by the hell bound screaming banshees that people don’t like being constantly lectured to? Further, the name-calling with vitriol and spitting saliva has been another eye roll factor. People don’t like being called names such as “Hitler, bigot, election denier, Nazi, xenophobe, homophobe, transphobe, fascist, MAGA extremist, insurrectionist, black face of white supremacy (perhaps that’s just me),” and so many other derogatory expletives. These are the self-proclaimed “tolerant” class.
The 2024 Presidential Election was a definitive referendum on “wokeness” and excoriating citizens for just being themselves. It’s one thing to have an opinion, but when you start dehumanizing people simply because you associate them with a politician that causes LITERAL panic attacks, you should probably check your “privilege.”
One would ask “what happened?” I’m glad you asked. Kamala voters were so focused on abortions and women’s rights (that we already have and aren’t going to lose), they completely ignored how badly American citizens have been financially destroyed the last four years. Thousands of videos on social media apps show people crying and asking how anyone is surviving in this economy. These videos were non-existent during Trump’s first term.
This may be alarming to those who were all in for Kamala Harris, but there are those in this country, who can’t afford to vote for ideology. They have to vote for their survival. People who can’t put food on the table, pay their rent and other expenses don’t particularly care about installing a woman in the highest office in America. Suffering Americans cared more about their children’s wellbeing than endless abortions, democracy and open borders.
The tide has turned. All the name calling didn’t work anymore. Voters decided their futures at the ballot boxes across the nation. In fact, the name calling energized Trump’s base, capitalizing on slurs such as when Joe Biden called over half the country “garbage.” Instead of backing down, like Republicans did in the past, they flooded social media with garbage memes. Content creators posted thousands of videos where they dressed up in trash bags and simulated trips to the polling stations. All attempts to demonize an embattled constituency had the exact opposite effect.
Perhaps the arrogant credentialed class should take a few moments to reflect upon the last few months. Hell, they should consider the last ten years and how the constant accusations against Donald Trump, now President-Elect Trump didn’t achieve their desired result. Your screeching, lawfare, accusations, foaming-at-the-mouth liberal demon possessions didn’t close the deal by running a “not that guy” campaign. Twerking rappers didn’t work. Celebrity endorsements didn’t work. Spending over $1 billion and a $20 million debt REALLY didn’t work. Crazy liberals removing Trump / Vance yard signs without permission didn’t work. Nothing you people did has worked. NOTHING.
People are fed up with the mistreatment by the left. By the way, the handmaiden's tale class won’t win the popularity contest either, by shaving their heads. Don’t worry, Phoebe, your rights are still intact.
