Wow, that was interesting to look through, never looked at a list like that. Isn't that weird, for almost four decades since my parents were no longer involved in selecting things for me to read, I've just been free reading what was on hand, at the good will, or something I purposefully sought out. Who has the time? One day when the kids are grown, if we can make it out of the city, I imagine myself on a covered wooden front deck, reading the great stories of the ages, light beer in hand, cigar in ash tray, the occasional distraction as I yell at the punk kids to get the hell off my lawn.
