While the Mainstream Media (MSM) spins Republican losses in Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio, out here in Colorado the people who chose to participate, made their choices heard. Colorado voter turnout for this off-year election was reported at 36.64%.

The widely touted Proposition HH, where Colorado's Tabor Taxpayer Refunds would be kept by the State of Colorado in exchange for a small property tax refund, was soundly defeated by the voters. Only the most liberal counties in Denver and Boulder voted for this proposition. The defeat margin was over 60% No to 39% Yes and sends a message to the supermajority Democrat Colorado Legislature. While this is a victory, expect the Legislature to attempt more future attacks against Colorado's Taxpayer Protective Tabor Law.
