We’ve been saying from the day we took this case that this was one that would end up at the U.S. Supreme Court. On December 27th, we just filed a petition for certiorari to the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn the Colorado Supreme Court’s dangerously flawed twisting of the 14th Amendment to ban President Trump from the ballot.

This is so much more than one primary in one state – this is the greatest election interference case in U.S. history and represents a grave attack on millions of Americans’ fundamental right to vote.

We represent the Colorado Republican Party and are urging the Supreme Court to swiftly grant and resolve this case as we are just weeks from the first ballots being cast in the 2024 presidential election.

In our filing December 27th, we make three main arguments:

    1. “The President is not an officer of the United States covered within the disqualification provision of Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment.”
    2. “Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment is not a self-executing authority for state courts and litigants to use as a sword against presidential candidates.”
    3. “The Colorado Supreme Court’s decision violates the Colorado Republican Party’s First Amendment associational right to choose its own political candidates.”

I hope the GOP lawyers realize that there is an ominous angle going on here. It's not just about bumping PRESIDENT Trump off ballots. Look at the timing of each of the states and think ahead. Put away the checker board and belly up to the chess board!

WOW, love that "freedom of speech" there, colorado!

Colorado has become the communist state and the whole state government is as corrupt as Joe Bribeme himself the Sec of state is as corrupt as anyone but has now claims she will put Trump back on the ballot .The elections are rigged here very few republicans can win and if they do they make them go through recounts the Gov is gay and corrupt as they come the whole state is just a communist shithole and is getting worse it is a good example of what the US its self is headed for.

Not to mention the inconvenient truth that there was no insurrection.....and the Colorado Supreme Court declared him guilty of it without the bother of a trial. There's got to be a way to jail judicial activist's like this when they trash our Constitution and justice system for political gain.

Congress is the only entity within our Constitution that can call an action to overthrow the govt an 'insurrection', and they have not done so. States do not have that power. Everyone knows there was no insurrection. If there was Jack Smith would've already charged Trump.
